Methods for reducing or eliminating compatibility problems are covered, including compatibility modes for both IE6 and IE7. There is a discussion of intranet compatibility issues and techniques for making the transition to IE8 while retaining control of the schedule for code maintenance and upgrades. Code examples are provided.
